Worldwide Correspondants is a platform where French and English speakers can learn about our pen pal exchange program and sign up to participate.

What does Worldwide Correspondants do?

The purpose of Worldwide Correspondants is to connect French and English speakers online to pratice the language they’re learning. Through the site, a French speaker is matched with an English speaker with similar interests. In Whatsapp, the students become penpals, and they chat in both languages. French speakers can practice their English, while English speakers practice their French. Pen pals are a great way for language and cultural learning. 

How can I participate?

If you would like to join, please click on the Register link and fill out the survey about your interests and WhatsApp number (your phone number). Then, you will be able to see other students, and you can choose one that has similar interests to become your WhatsApp penpal. For instance, if you speak French, like tennis, and have a dog, and you see an English speaker who also plays tennis, then you can select them to be your penpal. After selecting them, connect your new pen pal via WhatsApp to start the conversation 🙂
